39:3-26.5. Security-resopnsibility law applicable.

In the event of death, bodily injury or property damage arising in connection with the operation of any vehicle while on a public highway and with respect to which a crossing permit under this act has been issued, the operate, permit holder and owner of the vehicle (if he be other than the permit holder) shall be subject to the provisions of the "Motor Vehicle Security-Responsibility Law"). Any circumstances which would authorize or require the director to suspend the registration of a regisered vehicle pursuant to said law shall also be deemed to authorize or require the revocation of a permit issued pursuant to this act; and in such case the permit shall be revoked in its entirety and not with repect only to a particular vehicle or vehicles.
