AAA APPLICATION FOR LEGAL DEFENSE REIMBURSEMENT
CRITERIA: Member must enter and maintain a plea of “not guilty.” This includes charges that have been dismissed
before judgment.
The AAA Member must have been a Member in good standing at the time of offense.
No reimbursements will be made for charges to include driving under the influence, drugs or narcotics, revoked or
suspended driver’s license, illegal use or falsification of license, attempt to elude the police, or hit and run.
No reimbursement is made for a guilty plea, guilty plea on a lesser charge, court costs, fines, witness fees, or
investigations.
Application must be received within 60 days of the final trial for reimbursement consideration.
INSTRUCTIONS: IF ALL ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA HAVE BEEN MET PLEASE COMPLETE THE

Please include all of the following support material:
1) Copy of citation 2) Copy of attorney bill 3) Copy of final disposition/court summary
