39:2-3.3 Definitions relative to privacy of motor vehicle records.
1. As used in this act:
Director means the Director of the Division of Motor Vehicles in the Department of Transportation.
Division means the Division of Motor Vehicles in the Department of Transportation.
Motor vehicle record means any record that pertains to a motor vehicle operators permit, drivers license, motor vehicle title, motor vehicle registration, or identification card issued by the Division of Motor Vehicles.
Person means an individual, organization or entity, but does not include the State or a political subdivision thereof.
Personal information means information that identifies an individual, including an individuals photograph; social security number; driver identification number; name; address other than the five-digit zip code; telephone number; and medical or disability information, but does not include information on vehicular accidents, driving violations, and drivers status.
