The director, after consultation with the Commissioner of Insurance, is hereby empowered to prescribe, adopt, promulgate, rescind and enforce rules and regulations requiring insurers to provide all information with respect to the issuance, renewal, cancellation, nonrenewal and termination of insurance as the director may deem necessary to assist the division in enforcement of the provisions of this Title relating to insurance coverage for motor vehicles.

Vehicles registered in foreign country, operation by owner permitted temporarily A resident owner of any motor vehicle which has been registered in accordance with the laws respecting the registration of motor vehicles in a foreign country may operate the motor vehicle in this State for 20 days after the owner imports the motor vehicle into this State in the same manner and to the same extent as though the motor vehicle was registered in this State, provided the registration number is conspicuously displayed on the motor vehicle.
